Travelling by car

Please use the postcode BH13 7RD in your Sat Nav, the address is: Sandbanks Yacht Co. 30 -32 Panorama Road, Sandbanks, Poole. Click here for parking.

Travelling by Taxi

If you are travelling by Taxi from Bournemouth, please allow 20 – 25 min for the journey, you can get dropped right outside the main gate at Sandbanks Yacht Company.

Travelling by bus

The number 50 Breezer (Or 60 if coming from Poole) goes from the square in Bournemouth right to the end of the Sandbanks peninsular – make sure you get off before boarding the ferry otherwise you will end up in Swanage!

Travelling by Train

Poole station is the closest station and you’ll need a 20-25 min Taxi journey.

Parking

We do offer on site parking on a first come, first served basis that our customers are welcome to use whilst with us, on site parking needs to be pre arranged.

There is metered parking right across the Sandbanks peninsular, we would recommend the on-street parking on Panorama Road itself or the large Sandbanks Beach car park if you are planning on spending a full day here whilst visiting us, both are just minutes from our location.

All of the metered parking takes change and some of the machines also take card – the easiest way to pay for parking is the “Just Park” app this can be downloaded here www.justpark.com

Awesome time. I was hesitant at first as we had never been on jet skis but John put us at ease and got us the right warm safety equipment. Doing 12mph around harbour was fun but hitting the sea waves at 47 mph was amazing. Highly recommened 10/10 experience

He maintained great contact, was very responsive, very nice and very friendly, made me feel really assured and we were and excited about the day. Booked a double rider Jetski experience. Unfortunately we had to cancel for personal experience so did not get to experience the jet ski tour, however, my experience with the company thus far had been wonderful and I hope to book in the future. Seems like a very lovely company and I’m sure we would have enjoyed ourselves.

If you enjoy water sports on the sea and looking for a recreational activity, try Sandbanks Jet Ski Company on Panorama Road. When enquiring about participation, everything easily explained and what the activity involved. If staying in Swanage, easy to get to Sandbanks via the No.50 Purbeck Breezer bus route to Panorama road. Allow 45 minutes travel time. Upon arrival, you need to complete an indemnity waiver and questionnaire about the activity. N.B You must be a strong/competent swimmer to participate in this activity! Lockers provided to store your clothes and valuables. Wet suit is provided and life jacket. Even in warm sunny conditions, recommend bringing water resistant footwear and gloves; it does get chilly on the open sea! Sunglasses are also recommended, to stop spray and salt water blinding you at times. The staff are very approachable and customer focused. Our instructor John, was really friendly and explained everything clearly. Guided us through the serious safety aspects, operation and how to handle the Jet Ski. As long as you are sensible, listen to the instructor, follow their instructions; you will have a safe and amazing time. John took photographs of us on the water, which was a bonus. After initial apprehension, gained confidence with the Jet Ski. Out onto open water, increasing the speed and understanding the wave situation, it became a real buzz! Smiling throughout the time we had. When you disembark from the Jet Ski, it was laughable how the class struggled to regain their footing on the dock, due to riding position on the machine for over and hour! Lovely warm shower provided at the end, recommend you bring a towel and change of clothing. John sends photographs he took via phones. There are coffee shops/restaurants next to/nearby the ski centre, recommended to chill out afterwards and enjoy a warm drink or food. N.B book in advance! From personal experience, I would only re book with Sandbanks Jet Ski Company. Looking forward to booking again next Summer. A great present for a friend/family member who also loves adrenalin activities.
